This weekend Deer Season started. I have not got to go yet but, I am am going this weekend. Last year I shot my first deer and it was a buck. My buck was a 7 point. We chased it all through the woods. When I first shot it dropped right there. Then it got back up and went behind an evergreen tree. My dad, uncle and I got out of the tree stand and went to go find it. We walked around the evergreen and it jumped up and ran. My dad and I went 1 way down a hill and my uncle went down another. They saw the deer run and they stared shooting. There were gun shots all over. The deer got away so we followed it. We went into a creek bed and over fence. Then we saw a 12 point and we shot at it but we missed it. So we were about ready to leave and i saw the deer it was laying by a tree dead. We loaded it up and took it home. We skinned it and got all the meat. We made jerky and it was really good.
